Omaha Public Schools is pleased to recognize the following staff and students for their academic, extracurricular and professional achievements:
- CSM Shawn Griffith, Westview High’s JROTC teacher, for being selected as a recipient of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year and National Citizenship Education Teacher Awards.
- Lily-Marie Kracke, Westview High senior, for placing second in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Voice of Democracy Competition.
- Christopher Humphries, Omaha Public Schools business and industry partner supervisor, for being recognized as a “40 under 40” honoree by the Midlands Business Journal.
- Thomas Lee of Westview High for being named the 2025 John Wooden Legacy Award recipient from the Nebraska Basketball Coaches Association.
- Awards
